Raffle Update 1/14
Raffle to benefit Jay Swaim, Jay Eric Swaim (Eric) son.
I will start the Raffle ticket sales this week. I’ll update once everything is in place.

Update Addition to the Raffle ;
Thanks to whom “wished to be unnamed” Admin from Bass Upfront Facebook group has Donated this Beautiful Byron Powerhorse head with Byron 1 x 12 cabinet. Tube power with a 50 watt head and a 300 watt cabinet
Jay Eric Swaim, a local String Orchestra Teacher and Professional bassist in Murfreesboro, has a son (Named Jay who was involved in a car accident on October 28, 2023. Jay was in his car at a red light when he was struck by a Ram 1500 truck at 74 mph from behind. Jay’s Ford Crown Victoria was hit so hard it exploded and caught on fire. Jay was caught in the car and had to be life flighted to Vanderbilt hospital. He had 25% of his body burned and spent 30+ days on Vanderbilt Trauma ICU and Burn ICU. After 39 days at Vanderbilt his bills are 1.5+ Million dollars and $63k for lifeflight. The last 38 days He has been at another hospital. Soon he will be at a rehab facility for physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Jay Eric Swaim’s wife a Respiratory Therapist and has been with their son 24/7 since the accident. They were a two income family but as of December 1, 2023 that income is just coming from Jay Eric Swaim. The purpose of the raffle is to help Jay Eric Swaim II (the son) to help out with medical expenses and items needed in his road to total recovery. Burns are not like stitches. It takes a long time to recover. Although Jay is on his Father’s health insurance plan the 20% of the probable 2+ million dollar price tag from Hospitals and doctors will be overwhelming for him along with other items he may need in his recovery.
The Swaim family is so grateful for the anominous individual who donated a bass for raffle.
The uniformed Firefighters are the ones that saved him. The guys in the hospital are the lifeflight crew that saved him.
